Here's a little guide to help you get settled and feel as home as fast as possible.


... Before Arrival ...

Please inform us about your approximate arrival time. We are happy to order a Taxi for you (Diani Airport: 500 Sh, Mombasa Airport: 6000 Sh, Mombasa SGR: 6500 Sh).

In case you want a Private Chef to prep your breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, please let us know at least 2 days prior to your arrival.

Furthermore, we can help to organize Safaris (Masai Mara, Tsavo, Amboseli) and Day Trips to Wasini & Chale Island.

... During your Stay ...

Laundry Service: For private clothing costs 700 Sh per (big) bag/load. You can request Ironing as well.

Daily Cleaning: It is included in your rental rate. It includes also Dish Washing. Bedsheets, Towels are provided and replaced according to your personal needs. 

Unlimited Wi-Fi: The Network Name is "Frangipani" and the Password is "@Frangipani2022". There are three different Routers to cover the whole compound. If the Internet fails for more than 30 minutes, please ask the maid to restart the devices immediately and/or get a technician to resolve the issue asap.

Power Usage: The maid will read the power meter during your Check-In. As of today, KPLC charges 25 Sh for 1 kWh. We only charge you if you want to use the Air Condition. There is a power meter that measures your consumption. 

Security: Our staff is around 24/7. The nightguard works from 7 pm to 7 am. All apartments have alarm buttons next to the beds. Only to be pressed in case of emergency!

Power Interruptions: The National Power Company still struggles to supply Electricity 24/7. However, Power Interruptions are nowadays rare to be seen in Diani. As environmentalists, we do not have generator. Candles are provided at the beginning, please buy more for a longer stay to be best equipped. Only about 4 interruptions per year last longer than 4 hours, though. 

Gas Stove: Our stoves are powered by gas. If it is not working, the gas bottle might be empty. Tell our maid and she will get it exchanged. It is included in the pricing. Please handle with care.

... House Rules ...

Quiet Time: 10 pm - 8 am. Please do not disturb other guests.

Waste Separation: Please put your organic waste (food leftovers, tea bags, greens) into a provided, extra container. Plastic Bottles and Glass Bottles go into the woven baskets.

Swimming Pool: Free to use at any time - but only for registered guests (residents)! Please use the pool shower before entering the pool. If chemicals are being used, a sign will show you to wait until the next morning. 

In case any damages occur during your stay, please inform the Maid or Manager before your departure. Otherwise we have to assume our staff is responsible for any loss/damage.
